Peter Principle Strikes Again

Blokes In another of North County Gazette's  dead on straight commentaries, - Political Payback-- Attorney In Schiavo Case Named Judge By Bush,we see how yet another loser who was a part of Terri Schiavos murder is elevated to a higher position.

In the opinion of many who followed the Schiavo case which ended in the court ordered murder of severely disabled Terri Schiavo in front of the entire world, Pamela A.M. Campbell is the original knuckle head attorney who started with the Schindler family and was an integral  part of the words which served as the basis for the denial of all future appeals. So great  now she has been selected by Gov. Jeb Bush to sit with Judge George W. Greer and Mark Shames on the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court. Still waiting for Jeb to step up to the plate and set the stage for Greer's demise, I guess many of us have to wait a bit longer...glad I know to not hold my breath...

Arrest Michael Schiavo for a Start...

Headspin     The St. Petersburg Rag of a newspaper I wouldn't line a cat box with if I had a cat, opines Jeb Bush, and it is insinuated the rest of us as well who recognize Terri Schiavo as having been murdered should: End the Schiavo obsession.

David Helson of the TerrisJustice email list retorts but doesn't count on the following being published:

The cozy cabal of scientologists, corrupt guardians and their hired help in the legislature, judiciary, insurance industry, hospice boards, compromised media and euthanazia lobby will never silence those who realize how great a crime you committed and how much damage you have done to the legal system by enshrining Nazi ethics in American case law.

Kathryn of the list suggests and I agree as it seems so very Crystal Clear, we would stop our obsession if someone would just simply arrest Michael Schiavo for murder. I think that would be a fine start... then of course also moving onwards towards disbarring if not charging for various counts Felos and of course my all time favorite to hold up as an example of a dishonorable sociopath Judge, Judge George Greer... who should suffer perhaps most grievously in my not so humble opinion.  Yep...that would be a fine start indeed at ending this obsession.....

'nuff said.

Yes Murder is Murder

Euthanasia    Earlier I wrote about the mercy killings murders in a hospital in the aftermath of Katrina and was doubtful any charges would be brought. Fortunately I am writing today charges were indeed filed against a Dr. Anna Pou, Lori Budo, and  Cheri Landry in four counts of 2nd degree MURDER. Below you can see the comment of Dr. Pou doesn't quite match with what you can find in the affidavit.

    From a CNN.com transcript

DR. ANNA POU, MEMORIAL HOSPITAL PHYSICIAN:

There were some patients there that -- who were critically ill, and, regardless of the storm, were -- had the orders of, do not resuscitate, in other words, that if they died, to allow them to die naturally and not to use any heroic methods to resuscitate them.

We all did everything within our power to give the best treatment that we could to the patients in the hospital, to make them comfortable.

Highly likely there were some, yes some who were critically ill. I also can not possibly fathom how desperate and vile the conditions had become. However, the medical states of the murdered and the conditions after Katrina  are only a context for these murders they are not justification or explanation. It appears from the affidavit, Dr. Pou wasn't completely aware of the medical status of all the Lifecare patients and the worst appears highly possible: she and others just wanted to get out and get as far away as possible and the people on the 7th floor who needed them were figuratively standing in their way.
Crystal Clear her statement above does not jive with the following from the affidavit:

Dr. Pou advised D.R. that she was under the impression that the patients were not aware of what was happening. D.R. informed Pou that one patient, E.E., was aware, conscious and alert, but that he weighed 380 pounds and was paralyzed. Dr. Pou decided E.E. could not be evacuated. Dr. Pou asked if one of D.R.’s staff members would sedate him. D.R. advised that they had a nurse who E.E. knew. They briefly discussed the matter with the nurse, but D.R. decided that she did not want Lifecare staff involved.

...D.R. brought up the fact that patient E.E. was alert and oriented. Dr. Pou asked if someone from Lifecare could talk with E.E. or sedate him. Initially someone mentioned that A.G., a Lifecare RN, had a close relationship with E.E., but A.G. refused to participate in sedating E.E.

Mercy killing my ass...

Terri Schiavo Was NOT in a COMA

Kate Sheehy's  &/or the New York Post's future is Crystal Clear if  mistakes as glaring as the following found in 'Terri Saying Thanks' are a regular matter of business:

But her family angrily disputed his claim, asserted that her coma might one day be reversed - and even suggested that Schiavo may have had a hand in Terri's collapse.[My note-TERRI WAS NOT IN A COMA- seriously makes me wonder what is going on with this woman & her editor. Neither of my thoughts is very complimentary:

a) There is an agenda is using the word COMA
b) They are completely stupid]

An autopsy later revealed no evidence of abuse before Terri fell into the coma and that she was in a persistent vegetative state when she died.

This is untrue and misleading and thus it follows: irresponsible journalism.  The autopsy couldn't have revealed evidence of abuse...COULD NOT have revealed it... AND of course it is untrue and misleading and irresponsible to write it revealed she was in a persistent vegetative state. The diagnosis of PVS is a clinical diagnosis. It can not be confirmed or refuted with physical evidence. Thus it is untrue and misleading and irresponsible to write the autopsy revealed she was in a PVS.

It would have been true and appropriate and responsible to write the autopsy revealed she died of dehydration. Of course it would have, in my opinion, been even more true to write Terri's dehydration was on account of her murderous philandering husband's doing...but considering it was nearly impossible to get complete and accurate media coverage for the years before her murder let alone during her lengthy tortuous murder before the world's eyes last year,  I would never expect the complete truth to come easily from the likes of Ms. Sheehy or the New York Post.

Feel free to email Ms Sheehy at kate.sheehy@nypost.com to bring these errors to her attention.

Mikey, I Think She Means...

Hand4

It's My Turn to Talk whines Mikey as he, in a very Crystal Clear fashion continues to show his true narcissitic characterological traits.

Excerpts straight from the mouth his mother fed with italics mine for emphasis and commentary.

Matt Lauer, NBC News: I guess you could’ve written a book to honor Terri. After reading it, it’s not really the book you wrote. This is a book that in some ways settles some scores, doesn’t it?
Michael Schiavo:  Oh yes it does.

Lauer:  You did think about writing that a book that honored Terri?

Schiavo: Oh yes. Many times. I mean this book does honor Terri in a way. It sets her free. It tells the truth.

On allegations that he waited to call 911 after Terri collapsed on Feb. 25, 1990
Schiavo:  They’re wrong.  I heard the thud.  Ran to Terri.  Called  after that little gasp, I mean, it was within a minute I was on the phone with 911.  They can think whatever.

Hmm, Mikey your own words years ago and the police report betray you...That is the problem with lies...You gotta remember to whom you told what..Also notice the reference to Terri as an inanimate object not to be passed back and forth...eerie how he uses similar reference here

On his marriage to Jodi
Lauer: People have often asked. Michael why didn’t you divorce Terri, you were living with Jodi.
Michael Schiavo: Why do I have to divorce Terri? Terri wasn’t like a football— an inanimate object you pass back and forth. She was my wife. You mean because your wife gets sick, do you give her back?

Uhmmm no but do you kill her when her family and millions want her alive and  you could divorce her and marry your live-in girlfriend who you have 2 children with ?

On his decision to remove Terri’s feeding tube in the face of pressure from the Vatican and the American public
Schiavo: Yeah, well I guess when it all boiled down, I couldn’t understand why these people were so passionate about my life... People are allowed to die every day. Feeding tubes are removed every day.

Oh this one is priceless...and quite damning... Mikey it was Terri's life we were passionate about and getting YOU out of it

Lauer:  Did you think at all that point - and I think Jodi even came to you one day and said, “Give it up.”
Schiavo: I couldn’t.  I couldn’t.  You know, my parents, they raised me to be a fighter.  And I was doing something that Terri wanted.  And I couldn’t give it up on her.  I came this far.  And I wasn’t gonna let anybody stand in my way.

Priceless yet again...fighter? It wasn't about winning...And Mikey himself admitted NONE of them knew what Terri wanted.. NONE of them...him included...And read the last italicized part aloud and listen to it carefully when the interview airs on Sunday... He says he couldn't give it up..and then unconsciously realizing he should've said couldn't give up on her...Ahh tsk tsk tsk... it will be so wonderful and right if you get what you deserve in my lifetime...

On hs (sic)decision not to let Terri’s brother in the hospital room to say a final goodbye

Schiavo: I didn’t want the animosity.  I didn’t want the feelings. I didn’t want the aura that obby (sic) and I, you know,  we hate each other.

Catching on...always was and always will be about Mikey and what Mikey wanted...not about what Terri would've wanted

Lauer: Do you think, Michael, in that last minute, Bobby’s in the hallway; he wants to come in—her brother.  You’re walking into the room.  Did you stop and think, “What would Terri want?”  Would she want her brother or sister?

Schiavo: I’m sure Terri would want the families to get along and be happy. But it didn’t happen.   I had to get to Terri.  I had seconds then.  Seconds.  I got into her room, and I could see that she’d changed, like that.

Yep, he knew what Terri would have wanted and yet did what HE wanted because of his own discomfort and what was easiest and best for him

On if the promise he is convinced he is honoring was as important to Terri Schiavo: She’s up there praising me right now... and saying thank you.

Uhmmm more likely she's up there giving him the third finger salute...

Blogburst in Memory of Terri Schindler-Schiavo-Day 2

In I Remember Terri , Maggie writes:

What is even more shocking, though, is the way in which even to this day, almost 12 months after the feeding tube was forcibly removed on the orders of her guardian, Terri Schindler remains a person who cries out for justice. Even from the grave, Terri's voice continues to cry out for justice against all who were complicit in the decision-making that brought about her death.

I couldn't have said it better myself...

Terri Schindler-Schiavo Should Have Been Simple

Terri Schindler-Schiavo Blogburst 2006 Day One:Simple

Crystal Clear the care for Terri Schindler-Schiavo should have been very simple.

  • Effective and Efficient: Her Mother, her Father, her Sister,  and her Brother all wanted to care for her and love her.
    • Direct-Nothing is as everlasting and pure as a Mother's love for her child.Nothing.
    • Economical-No hospice care was ever necessary or required. It bucked the whole system contemptuously to put her in a hospice Felos and Greer were connected with.
    • Comfortable-Life at home with family and love instead of 24/7 clinical care by those serving those entering the final stages of life with death waiting on the doorstep
    • Few Steps- Judge Greer could have legally, ethically, and morally bestowed guardianship on one or both of her siblings as requested early in the proceedings if he hadn't had another interest
    • Fast-Could have been done and over with in one hearing
    • Suitable-Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy at home instead of receiving NONE of the above and LESS on account of your husband's  legals guardian's demand
    • Adapted-Could have recognized the change in Mikey's guardianship eligibility as there was a Crystal Clear conflict of interest as Mikey was living with his concubine and fathered 2 children .. ya' think?
  • Simple,Reduced: Her Mother, Father, Brother and Sister and COUNTLESS OTHERS all wanted her to live and there was absolutely NOTHING in writing and only a few hearsay comments  (from biased and connected witnesses) and not even RELEVANT comments or statements that allegedly alluded to her saying she wouldn't want to "live like that" when the "that " of her situation (with a feeding tube) wasn't even considered extraordinary means and would not have been considered when she made the alleged statement by interested parties!
  • Transparent & Learnable
    • Behaves as Expected- A husband who would like to supposedly get on with his life with a new family and has the option to do so would take the path of least resistance and... relinquish guardianship to her family and would have let her live. Mikey has stated he and NONE of us know what Terri would have wanted ...it should have been an assumption of life with care by family who would be devastated and were by her starving...He was and is no hero... it was not expected behavior...
    • Familiar: There had been no so hotly contested case as this... logic and morality and life should have been default. Life and the presumption of life when loved and wanted by others is a familiar assumption and was until Terri...
    • Consistent: Terri's Mother, Father, Brother, and Sister and countless supporters always supported Terri's life. Mikey on the other hand went from asking for millions to care for her to using the million plus to finally finish her off...Remembering after receiving the malpractice settlement that she had said she wouldn't want to live like that...
    • Intuitive/Understandable/: The public can understand a promise a husband makes to a wife. However, it is intuitive and understandable a wife in a similar predicament would not only understand but WANT her husband to let her live and let her family care for her and love her and take her home. It is beyond intuitive a woman who was in no pain and whose family wanted to take her home and care for her would want the family to do so and have her husband go on with his life. It is against common sense and not intuitive or  understandable an otherwise healthy woman would want to put her Mother, her Father, her Brother, her Sister, and countless millions through such a horrific death. It just does not compute. It does not match up with the person her family OR Mikey describe.

And So We Shall Write...

Around the time I wrote my post about the anniversary of the murder of Terri Schindler-Schiavo ,
which was soon after published as a letter to the editor of the Honolulu Star Bulletin, I thought about a Terri blogburst to commemorate the thirteen days the world watched in horror and the legacy she has left behind. Unfortunately, as I went here and there on the list of Blogs for Terri,
I was disappointed to learn so many bloggers, who had so passionately written and acted on behalf of Terri and her loving family, were no longer blogging at all. I hope this Blogburst in Memory of Terri will spread far and wide and inspire them to return and for many others to join us. Please make certain you let us know you are participating and feel free to copy any and all of my posts during that time. Please also plan on annually honoring the memory of Terri with "Terri's Day" ,
a celebration of the "Culture of Life" as well as celebrating the woman who sacraficed her life for this cause.

Happy Birthday Indeed Haleigh!

Happy Birthday to Haleigh Poutre!
Another example of how useful the clinical diagnosis of Persistent Vegetative State (PVS) by highly trained medical professionals can be if you want to end someone's life in a court. They all certainly have egg on their faces now, she wasn't PVS.

Crystal Clear, how absurdly dangerous the clinical diagnosis is in matters of life and death and murder.

When Mercy Kills

Stopme Several months back the story of mercy killings at Memorial Hospital during Katrina were thought by some to be the beginnings of an urban myth. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly this does not appear to be the case.

Not Dead Yet gets it Crystal Clear with this:

The term mercy killing is a loaded one, a term that tends to generate sympathy for the killer. It's also generally used in those cases when the victim of a murder is old, ill or disabled.

...Admittedly, the hospital staff must have been exhausted and scared. We can never know how they rationalized their actions (providing the accounts given by NPR are true). But that doesn't make the alleged killings merciful -- and no one should refer to these killings using that term again.

Yep...actually the term murder works just fine...I don't hold any hopes anyone will be charged with murder as it would be difficult to prove...I just hope those who are responsible are never ever able to treat a patient again or have anything to do with "Health Care".

You Know It is Coming...

Daily610 The anniversary of the murder of Terri Schiavo. Scuttlebutt has it a book by Mikey and another by the Schindler family are slated for release around the end of March. So the media will be allover it allover again...

It will appear to come into the spotlight and fade away but for many it has never truly gone away and truly never will.

Not a day passes I don't think about Terri Schaivo and feel sick to my stomach about all the different issues and all the lies that still float around to this day. It disturbs me greatly people think or use it in terms of people feeling politicians were using it for party gain. It bothers me people are more upset about the government interfering than a disabled woman being starved to death by order of Schiavo and Greer who had no moral or true legal standing. It bothers me people don't have a complete picture of all the wrongdoings and mishandling of the case. It enfuriates me to see Greer and Schiavo recognized with awards by organizations thus having their actions appear laudable and legitimate.

I feel terrible I haven't done more over this past year with regards to taking action by writing letters and blogging. When it has come up in conversations people often step back when I tell them it was more of a watershed moment for me than 9/11. It truly was. There may never be a satisfactory end to the Terri Schiavo story in my eyes, but as long as I can type and speak there will be no end to the story.

Like a Dog with a Bone?

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usFrom a very thoughtful post by Richard over at Blogs for Terri:

..we should start talking about important matters of our time via blogging and stop complaining that things don't work or just rant about fairness. He suggests that since fairness will never truly exist for the masses we bloggers should instead use the power of technology to spread the messages(of life issues). James goes on to suggest that bloggers recruit the expertise of fellow bloggers who are IT professionals in order to get the message(s) out and believes that the IT folks would be very willing to provide the help.

Frankly, I am a bit clueless on the actual nuts-and-bolts of who, what, where, and how of IT professionals help bloggers get messages out but completely believe in the power of the blogosphere to aid in the pursuit of justice in all causes. I am hopeful those who are more familiar with the actual nuts-and-bolts as to what IT professional do and can do to assist in the pursuit of justice for Terri Schiavo-Schindler will share with me and the many others who are not going to forget the watershed event, how we can approach IT professionals and what aid we can request.

Although we weren't successful in saving Terri's life from those who wanted her dead, I believe  Blogs for Terri showed itself powerful, formidable, and phenomenal in its ability to lead a cohesive fight with a frequently updated action plan members and their readers could follow to take action.

Since her murder several weeks ago, the posting and comments on Blogs for Terri has understandably and considerably slowed from its previous pace. As I mentioned previously, I do believe a time of mourning and reflection was appropriate and necessary. At least for myself, that time has drawn to a close. I am ready and prepared to continue on a path towards justice. Yes, I am a dog with a bone and I will not be giving up and I will not be forgetting...

In my opinion, Judge Greer is one of the very first who should be held accountable. In holding Greer accountable, it is likely, and no I am not generally big on conspiracy theories but do know more about the themes of  incest and poor boundaries than your average bear, there will be others who are also likely to come under closer examination and should answer for their complicity.

I did not start the following email  list Image Hosted by ImageShack.us.However, I was greatly relieved to discover it and quickly became a member last week. No trolls or individuals wanting to fight about the case need apply. However, for the rest of you wondering what it is about:

The group...a forum and catalyst for those seeking justice for this grave injustice that was perpetrated against a living, breathing, non-terminal,. human being in front of the entire nation/globe.

If you are not for getting justice for Terri against those with blood on their hands do not join this list.

I am a member of the list because I feel there is a need and benefit to a central location for people to discuss and implement plan(s). Personally, I also feel a benefit in being able to throw out  various ideas and gain information from the members who have been fighting for justice far longer than myself. I am counting on the Blogs for Terri to also step up to the plate but feel this email list will also be useful and supplement the public information. Already I have volunteered (yes I know crazy with all I have going on ...) to be a gatherer and compiler of letters from individuals who wrote letters to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission outlining Judge George Greer's alleged misconduct  and the responses/denials they received.

Even if you don't join the email list, please consider helping me spread the word about the list and in gathering letters and responses to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission concerning Judge Greer's alleged-HA misconduct. I have plans to post a basic letter you can send off to the commission later tomorrow. My understanding is the commission will only receive snail mail  and won't take faxes but perhaps I will check this out on Monday. I admit it is a huge temptation to sit back and think:

  • What's the use?
  • I am sure others are doing it or I am sure others have already done it

but for those of you on the same page as myself, please sit up straight and print out that letter. Right now it doesn't matter to me what others have or haven't done, what matters is I know I have done the right thing and I want you to also have that sliver of peace as well. At a yet to be determined point (obviously it would be best with a substantial number of letters/responses) I will be taking all of the letters and responses to the media who have been supportive of truth in coverage of Terri and have them look into why Judge George Greer is not being held to the same standard as others on the Florida bench. Although my research is only beginning, it is Crystal Clear to me Judge Greer has not been held to the same standard. For those of you who are on the other side regarding Terri (don't know why you would still be reading !)  you may be quite interested to learn that a number of Greer's ethical violations have absolutely nothing to do with the Terri Schiavo case.

No Requests My Ass-UPDATED

The scuttlebutt is Charlie Crist in Florida, the official who is reportedly in charge of investigating the Dishonorable sociopath Judge Greer, reports he hasn't received any calls or requests to look into Greer's misconduct regarding Terri Schiavo.

Many of us shake our heads in disgust as we know that is far from the truth. Callers to his office receive either no answer or are referred to another office. In service of those of you who are so inclined I provide :

UPDATED 5/12/05: When I called his office today I was told it was the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission that would investigate Greer. Here is that website and we need to send letters outlining the misconduct. http://www.floridasupremecourt.org/pub_info/jqc/index.shtml

Also according to that web page:
What Other Government Bodies Can Discipline Judges for Misconduct?

In addition to the JQC process, the Florida House of Representatives has authority to impeach judges, who then are tried for misconduct in the Florida Senate. Judges are removed from office by impeachment if found guilty by the Senate. No state judge has ever been found guilty following impeachment by the House. Apart from impeachment, only the JQC can recommend forms of discipline, which must be approved by the Florida Supreme Court.

Right now I am working on a post for Saturday that will hopefully be a letter people can e-mail, fax, &/or snail mail. Via Blogs for Terri , I am gathering the names and emails and phone numbers. I swear I will send them each an email and fax and phone call every single day until something is done...

One Finder of Fact

With the Schindler family's appearance on Fox's "Hannity & Colmes" show this evening, I realized if I ever wrote a book about the judicial system and the Terri Shiavo case I think I would consider naming  it "One Finder of Fact". The claim of 19 judges involved in the case is so very tiresome and exasperating when it comes down to the reality on this planet in this lifetime  it was Judge George Greer as the One Finder of Fact.

With the days on the calendar passing and drawing us closer to the results of Terri's autopsy, the 'special justice' award to Greer last evening, tonight's interview with the Schindler family, and  the upcoming June release of Mark Fuhrman's book Silent Witness : The Untold Story of Terri Schiavo's Death, I do believe we are on the edge of the next phase in the pursuit of justice. I know I am as ready as I am ever going to be. E-mail conversations with several readers also lead me to believe I am not alone in my choice to not 'let it go'. Letting this murder and crime against humanity  "go" without pursuing justice are just not in my psychological or spiritual DNA makeup. Crystal Clear, there continues to be a number and I am hoping a large number for which this is true as well.

I was struck by a number of things as I watched the Schindler family. Their genuineness is striking to me and I find them very human and largely believeable. I was relieved and very proud of them for their minimal hedging when it came to questions about domestic abuse and Michael's part in Terri's initial collapse. I imagine it must be very hard to answer those types of questions in a legal and PC appropriate manner. Furthermore,to my eyes, their predicament and their humanness was very evident in those exact  moments. They seemed to show the  understandable and yet useless guilt of the infamous "woulda, coulda, shoulda"  known. I guess I am also writing this coming from the years of experience as a family therapist who watches for and picks up on various things. I know I absolutely could have imagined myself asking them several questions that would have taken the conversation in a different direction.

As I close this post, I find myself hedging on a few concluding statements. Why the hedging when this is my blog? Actually that is part of the hedging. I am hesitant to go further into it because it is late and I need to get up in hours to begin the first of a few Aloha Mexifornia! sales. I guess what I want to say and/or call my readers' attention to is that the Terri Schindler-Schiavo story has the potential at times (seems more so all the time) to become an extremely sensitive subject to me on my blog. It is a subject I guess I am saying that leaves virtually no room for counter discussions with me. In my "real life" there has been no problem at all surrounding this issue. On my blog and in my email, this has not been true. Generally, I believe, or like to believe at least!, that I can handle points of view that differ from mine. I have worked quite genuinely and been quite successful I believe in developing an atmosphere on my blog that encourages discussion and ,at least on my part, learns from 'the other side of an issue'. When it comes to Terri, I believe most people who regularly read my blog are highly aware of the facts and issues and have come to their own points of view with considerable thought and contemplation...even if they disagree with my point of view. Thus it seems like disagreement at this point is not useful or productive. I respect your right to differ in opinion. However, I would prefer, on the subject of Terri, and at this point Terri is the ONLY topic I am saying this about,....if you are a valued  regular reader with a differing point of view concerning Terri, you give an extra moment of thought before you compose and send your  comment. Most any other topic... go for it... compose a comment snarky or otherwise..., share your thoughts, and we shall engage. With Terri...I am very very human and just don't value going  down that road with you. I guess I am saying I value the relationship I have with you, (readers who have different points of view regarding this and other topics-trolls can just move on along), enough to not jeopardize our relationship over this topic. I hope you value our relationship enough to extend me this courtesy on my blog.

Crystal Clear, 'Special Justice Award' to Greer is Very 'Special' Indeed

I had little idea just how absolutely correct I was when I wrote yesterday, "organizers and supporters of this tasteless immoral fiasco belong at the top of the wall on the Hall of Shame over at Blogs for Terri . You see when I visited the  West PASCO Bar Association, I learned a few interesting things which helped my understanding of this 'Special Justice Award' become much more Crystal Clear.

Discovering the president of the West PASCO Bar Association, Joan Nelson Hook, lists her areas of practice as   Probate, Guardianship, Special Needs Trust, Medicaid, Estate Planning, and is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Elder Law and is a member of  the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Florida State Guardianship Association helps us see this is  indeed a very special award pay-off &/or suck-up. If learning the president of the association isn't enough to convice you this was even more  disgusting than previously thought, I also offer you the following to sleuth around for yourself...

Pinnellas County appears to be an extremely sick and morally corrupt.
I am not able to finish this at this moment so will leave this as developing... If you know of any other connections or find any, please comment or trackback.

Murderer Greer to Be Honored?

And to think I was just about to go to sleep...I have not forgotten about Terri or Michael or Felos or Greer. I have not forgotten...

I WILL NEVER... EVER... EVER FORGET....

I am trying to patiently await the results of the autopsy even though I don't anticipate it will show anything of much use in the legal and criminal condemnation of Michael Schiavo, Felos, and Greer...I am waiting...but in the meantime...THIS is just wayyyyyy too much... Too much. If you are at all able, I urge you to participate in the  protest with your physical presence. The organizers and supporters of this tasteless immoral fiasco belong at the top of the wall on the Hall of Shame over at Blogs for Terri.

Get out the pad of paper to take down names...get out the cameras to take pictures...On the one hand I can't even stomach the coverage of this by the MSM but on the other hand...this can NOT go without protest...

Terri Schindler-Schiavo, Gone but Will Never, EVER Be Forgotten

America has been blessed, even in the tormenting evil that has spread its darkness upon our courts and murdered an innocent woman, we have been blessed.  We were bestowed with the gift of an innocent woman whom many of us never had the privilege of meeting and yet she profoundly touched our lives and therein is our blessing.

Please read the rest over at The Empire Journal: Through Every Tragic Event We Are Given An Opportunity To Rise Above. When I find things like this, it is Crystal Clear to me I do better as a blogger to share a link than to try and "recreate the wheel"...As I reflected between my clients this morning, I knew the thoughts of The Empire Journal are indeed where we need to go from here...
In the same fashion of wanting to share and express my grief and need for comfort, I remembered this wonderful flash movie.....The Lord is My Shepherd-Psalm 23. I always watch it on the anniversary of 9/11 and whenever I feel a profound loss and  need of comfort. I hope it will bring you some comfort as well.

Michael, Why When She is Dead?

Via Hyscience: Michael Schiavo and the Autopsy Scam
Why hasn't anyone thought about asking Felos why Michael wants to prove it when she is DEAD and not just do an MRI or PET scan now while she is still breathing and alive?
For goodness sakes, it certainly would also seem to help the national psyche and the great divide to do it NOW...
A few other thoughts and questions are also presented over at Blogs for Terri

A Coup with One Innocent Death at the Hands of Many

Via: ScrappleFace:(hat tip: The Jawa Report )

Florida Coup: Gov. Bush and Legislators May Flee:

The coup comes during a month in which Judge Greer twice overruled the governor and state legislature in order to carry out his decree to slowly execute Terri Schiavo, a woman who has come to symbolize the oppressive reign of Christian conservatives.

I guess this will be a part of the path we shall go as Terri passes...The discussion of how it came to pass that people who took oaths could twist and distort their oaths so terribly an innocent woman loved by her family could be murdered by her husband, his lawyer Felos, and the dishonorable Judge Greer...that the Executive and Legislative branches could supposedly do nothing legally to stop this murder...I have a very hard time accepting that...
I also have a hard of time listening to the continuous attacks on the Christian right as an attempt at distracting and dividing the public who have only the MSM McStory side of Terri as a "right to die" issue. . I am neither a Christian nor great "fan" of the Christian right as they are portrayed in the MSM but I have always always always seen this as a crime and judicial tyranny. I do seem to see the same side though as the Christian right (at least as I understand this part of their point) that it is beyond ridiculous to think Terri would have wanted to put her family through this pain and anguish to end her life no matter the question of vegetative state ...Crystal Clear to many, Michael doesn't get that about love.
Upon reflection I guess I shouldn't be so surprised by all the venom coming out of vipers left and right. I deal with depraved and damaged individuals every single day as well as the destruction and havoc they wreak....Generally, I find people get away with criminal and immoral behaviors and are  excused of criminal and immoral behaviors more times than they are held accountable...In the sense of healing and living a life of meaning and love, this is a huge disservice to themselves, the people they injure, and the rest of society. Crystal Clear, we all make mistakes and learn from our  good and bad choices. Functional sociopaths don't make ammends for their behaviors or choices unless it serves a purpose. Functional sociopaths learn different things from their mistakes and choices. Often, they learn more reasons and better ways to blame someone else....Guess I will leave it at that for tonight...

Yes What About Those Subpoenas?(UPDATED)

Ok, I am asking, as it is Crystal Clear, I am not terribly comfortable or up on a lot of the legal and constitutional stuff so I am asking a specific question or questions here....

If the subpoena for Terri was issued in part or whole because congress believed there was a crime going on or a crime had occurred...is that overstepping bounds? If so why?

Are the subpoenas still in effect right now?

Personally, as if I haven't received enough abuse on this whole fighting for Terri Schiavo's life and although I haven't completely thrown in the towel...as she still seems to be fighting and holding on at 9 days...... I am pretty much holding onto the very last threads, I really would like to see the subpoenas enforced and Terri ...even though it might be too late... taken into custody and attempts to re-insert the feeding tube.... I truly believe this is a heinous crime that is occurring before the nation and world's eyes...if not Terri...how about Michael?...Respectful comments requested...everyone else...move on along...

On Easter Eve

Twas the night before Easter and all through the house...The eggs are all colored, the baskets filled, and my heart is heavy and worn. How do I write...How do I?

As has been my experience before, I find prodding as well as comfort in the blogosphere and the Wide Awakes community. Over at Cao's I see a beautiful rose in honor of Terri and the roses that will be placed at Michael Schiavo's home in protest. Eric of Vince Aut Morire inspires with this post and his Wide Awakes post Blood, Toil, Tears And Sweat .

Perhaps the greatest comfort and inspiration came from an e-mail from Kender of Kender's Musings: (printed with honor and permission):after commenting on Eric's fantastic post he wrote:..

I believe I can speak for almost all of us, if not every one of us, when I say
We Are Tired!!
We are Disheartened.
We are Crestfallen and our Hearts Ache.
It is a sad irony that on the eve of the day that Christianity celebrates the Resurrection of its' Savior that we have been forced to accept the unacceptable.
That, on this night before we rejoice the promise of Life Renewed and Eternal Life, we must dry eyes that well up with tears for the life of an innocent woman who was the victim of evil men and the pawn in a game that would see us led down a dark and evil road.

Tomorrow is Easter. Spend the day with loved ones, and let not the sorrow that grasps your hearts with a heavy hand cause you to forget that, though this battle may be lost, there will be more to come.

I choose to believe that had Terri known of our feelings, our words, our actions, our Love and our hearts that surely she would have said,

"Weep not for me good people, but neither forget me when yet again you shall be called to battle the forces of darkness.  Instead use the memory of me to steel yourselves and carry on the fight, for the very future of all that is Good and Right may depend upon your resolve, your fortitude and your Faith."

Yes, this I choose to believe. Rest my friends. There is much yet to be done.

 Well said and greatly appreciated...

My prayers and thoughts are with Terri and her family, who have shown me faces of faith, strength, courage, and grace.

Blessed Be

Crystal Clear the MSM Skipped a Few Things

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us From CNN.com - Schiavo Parents Get Emergency Hearing :

PINELLAS PARK, Florida (CNN) -- A Florida state judge will rule by noon Saturday on a motion filed by Terri Schiavo's parents, who contend that their brain-damaged daughter has expressed the wish to live.

and from (AP)-With Terri Schiavo Nearing Death, Parents Press on With Court Appeals: (emphasis mine)

Another legal maneuver included a late afternoon filing asking Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer to order the reinsertion of the tube, claiming Terri Schiavo tried to say "I want to live" when her tube was removed.

Doctors who have examined her for the court case have said her previous utterances weren't speech, but were involuntary moans consistent with someone in a vegetative state...George Felos, the attorney for her husband Michael Schiavo, said the belief Terri Schiavo can speak was "crossing the line" into an abuse of the legal system.

Guess the rush to print stopped them from reading all the way through the motion for injunction and relief (hat tip: Empire Journal).
Fox News, the AP, and CNN forget to mention a few other things I would hope people would also want to know even though things are sliding down quickly for Terri...A few things many of us consider highly relevant . One affidavit presented, indicates why Michael might have had reason to lie about Terri's wishes. After all, aren't news organizations supposed to present the facts of the motion? Doesn't the public deserve to know about all the information presented to Judge Greer?

  • Lawrence Caldwell's affidavit he and others are working on technology that might help Terri speak
  • Dr. Elizabeth Schmidt's affidavit
  • And in my opinion, the most important and relevant affidavit by Dr. George McClane

Dr. George McClane is the Director of the Forensic Medical Unit (FMU) at the city of  San Diego  Department of  Family Justice Center. The FMU documents injuries sustained by living victims as the result of domestic violence. Dr. McClane is also a board-certified Emergency Physician and a diplomate National Board of Medical Examiners. Furthermore, even more relevant to Terri and Michael Schiavo, Dr. McClane has published works reviewing attempted strangulation in hundreds of cases. Crystal Clear he knows his stuff. I urge you to go read his full curriculum vitae and statement for yourself.
In his affidavit Dr. McClane attests:

The circumstances surrounding her initial anoxic episode and subsequent neurological status are consistent with a victim who has been strangled.

A "heart attack" precipitated by severe metabolic disease secondary to an eating disorder is inconsistent.

Such a severly compromised heart would never continue to pump effectively for 15 more years.

...It is critical that Terri Schiavo's case be considered as possible attempted homocide.

Ok, I get it... this doesn't fit with the "right to die" angle...It is probably too much for the public to integrate now that Terri is entering her final hours and so many have publicly made their thoughts about Terri's situation to friends and family. Admitting one has been misled or not taken the time to thoroughly consider all angles is, you know,...kind of humbling.

On behalf of Terri and all other women who have faced and might face domestic violence and those  who dismiss judicial tryanny as absurd...Judge Greer is considering this very information right now...No one would take a bet he'd do the right thing...
I hope there will be a thorough autopsy and investigation. Furthermore, I would like to see everyone who reads this to please contact MSM agencies asking them why this wasn't included with the sensationalistic claims Terri spoke she wanted to live or why allegations of domestic violence with the relevant bonescan weren't more thoroughly explored during this media circus or why a functional sociopath such as Judge Greer was allowed to sanction the murder of an innocent woman. There is a great deal of blood to spread around on many hands.

Not Done....But Some Comfort in the Meanwhile

BOMB THREAT in front of courthouse? Oh please...we don't have time for this....

Anyway... I came across the following article at Straight Up with Sherri who is doing some awesome blogging...along with Discarded Lies and commentator Florida Heat who is outside the Hospice  and of course Fr. Rob Johansen over at Thrown Back and many many more...

If Terri Schiavo Could Talk by Tom Purcell @ MensNewsDaily.com™.
This actually brought me some sense of comfort...at least for now as we wait for the next disappointment and then ...? Governor Bush will have in my eyes gone through all avenues and will  act as he knows a crime occurred and is occurring... I have read it several times and offer it for you to consider... Great comfort because I know Terri will be fine in all the ways that means...Tom is right... I am worried about the rest of us...

Still Reason to Hope...

According to not only my professional judgement, the WorldNetDaily  , and Florida Constitution Article I Section 2, Gov. Bush could save Terri despite Greer's ruling and determination to kill her. Yes Crystal Clear to me, Greer has a determination to KILL her...
I am heartened though that when I called Governor Bush's office at (850)488-4441 and Florida's DCF at (850) 487-1111 and informed them I am a mandated reporter from California and I believe there not only was a crime committed in the past but currently a crime going on now, they did not sound defeated or overwhelmed.... both thanked me for my concern. Could be my wishful thinking or it could be sign of things to come?
    Oh by the way Trolls:

  • I would fight just as hard for Michael if I really thought Terri wanted this or Michael was indeed being villified....
  • I would fight just as hard for you if I thought your spouse had tried to kill you years ago and your family had doubts as to your wishes and the circumstances surrounding your collapse and there was so much evidence and facts that HAD NOT BEEN ADDRESSED or CONSIDERED and thus raised these same red flags, concerns, and doubts.

Yes I Consider Greer Arrogant and Contemptible

I recognize Greer as arrogant and contemptible as I myself have those ugly and human qualities. Most humans do...we just don't often see it in such a Crystal Clear fashion as with Greer.
I do appreciate and  understand the point of people wanting to  put choice and decision above  everything and all things, but it is a sad, awful, and tragic day when a person who would desperately be trying to give a dying woman some ice chips is arrested and held in contempt of court but a person say for example Mikey,  who if he basically went in and slapped Terri around and beat the shit out of her and strangled her would likely yes be arrested BUT  DCF wouldn't be able to take Terri into custody to protect her from him coming back and doing it after he was bailed out.
Greer may not have had to legally leave the feeding tube in last week but Congress, the Governor, and the President and supporters of Terri would have felt there was at least common decency and respect and not the arroga
