From a very thoughtful post by Richard over at Blogs for Terri:
..we should start talking about important matters of our time via blogging and stop complaining that things don't work or just rant about fairness. He suggests that since fairness will never truly exist for the masses we bloggers should instead use the power of technology to spread the messages(of life issues). James goes on to suggest that bloggers recruit the expertise of fellow bloggers who are IT professionals in order to get the message(s) out and believes that the IT folks would be very willing to provide the help.
Frankly, I am a bit clueless on the actual nuts-and-bolts of who, what, where, and how of IT professionals help bloggers get messages out but completely believe in the power of the blogosphere to aid in the pursuit of justice in all causes. I am hopeful those who are more familiar with the actual nuts-and-bolts as to what IT professional do and can do to assist in the pursuit of justice for Terri Schiavo-Schindler will share with me and the many others who are not going to forget the watershed event, how we can approach IT professionals and what aid we can request.
Although we weren't successful in saving Terri's life from those who wanted her dead, I believe Blogs for Terri showed itself powerful, formidable, and phenomenal in its ability to lead a cohesive fight with a frequently updated action plan members and their readers could follow to take action.
Since her murder several weeks ago, the posting and comments on Blogs for Terri has understandably and considerably slowed from its previous pace. As I mentioned previously, I do believe a time of mourning and reflection was appropriate and necessary. At least for myself, that time has drawn to a close. I am ready and prepared to continue on a path towards justice. Yes, I am a dog with a bone and I will not be giving up and I will not be forgetting...
In my opinion, Judge Greer is one of the very first who should be held accountable. In holding Greer accountable, it is likely, and no I am not generally big on conspiracy theories but do know more about the themes of incest and poor boundaries than your average bear, there will be others who are also likely to come under closer examination and should answer for their complicity.
I did not start the following email list
.However, I was greatly relieved to discover it and quickly became a member last week. No trolls or individuals wanting to fight about the case need apply. However, for the rest of you wondering what it is about:
The group...a forum and catalyst for those seeking justice for
this grave injustice that was perpetrated against a living, breathing,
non-terminal,. human being in front of the entire nation/globe.
If you are not for getting justice for Terri against those with blood on their hands do not join this list.
I am a member of the list because I feel there is a need and benefit to a central location for people to discuss and implement plan(s). Personally, I also feel a benefit in being able to throw out various ideas and gain information from the members who have been fighting for justice far longer than myself. I am counting on the Blogs for Terri to also step up to the plate but feel this email list will also be useful and supplement the public information. Already I have volunteered (yes I know crazy with all I have going on ...) to be a gatherer and compiler of letters from individuals who wrote letters to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission outlining Judge George Greer's alleged misconduct and the responses/denials they received.
Even if you don't join the email list, please consider helping me spread the word about the list and in gathering letters and responses to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission concerning Judge Greer's alleged-HA misconduct. I have plans to post a basic letter you can send off to the commission later tomorrow. My understanding is the commission will only receive snail mail and won't take faxes but perhaps I will check this out on Monday. I admit it is a huge temptation to sit back and think:
- What's the use?
- I am sure others are doing it or I am sure others have already done it
but for those of you on the same page as myself, please sit up straight and print out that letter. Right now it doesn't matter to me what others have or haven't done, what matters is I know I have done the right thing and I want you to also have that sliver of peace as well. At a yet to be determined point (obviously it would be best with a substantial number of letters/responses) I will be taking all of the letters and responses to the media who have been supportive of truth in coverage of Terri and have them look into why Judge George Greer is not being held to the same standard as others on the Florida bench. Although my research is only beginning, it is Crystal Clear to me Judge Greer has not been held to the same standard. For those of you who are on the other side regarding Terri (don't know why you would still be reading !) you may be quite interested to learn that a number of Greer's ethical violations have absolutely nothing to do with the Terri Schiavo case.
